The 9/10 Fayette County HEAT baseball team competed in the USSSA Director's Cup Tournament at Morrow Lake City (March 10 - March 12). The team played a tough game and came up a point short in the 6th inning. They were defeated by the Centerfield Storm by a score of 11-10. This was the team's first tournament appearance and they brought home second place trophies for their efforts. This accomplishment qualifies the HEAT for a World Series Berth for the 2006 season.
