The new intersection of Ga. Highway 54 and 34 in Coweta County opened for traffic Wednesday. Gone is the former Y-shaped intersection, remade into a traditional T-shape. A Coweta County sheriff’s deputy directed traffic at the intersection Wednesday afternoon although the signal was up and running.
