The McIntosh High School swim team honored its outstanding athletes at its annual awards banquet in March. Senior Thomas Lucak and junior Nicole Roddenberry received the team’s High Points awards, and each also was given the Team Choice award, voted by the team members for the male and female swimmer most representative of the McIntosh team. The Most Valuable Swimmer title went to Roddenberry and senior Bryan Mitchell.

Senior Bailey Abercrombie and junior Ryan Morton received the Coach’s award, selected by Coach Thomas Stockdale to honor the two swimmers who best represent the dedication that team members should have. Most Improved awards went to sophomore Brian Forsyth and freshman Ariane Leblond. The Newcomer Award was given to senior Scott Druskat and freshman Sarah Trapaga.

The men’s team also received trophies for their second consecutive County Championship. Stockdale complimented the entire team for a very successful season, including the men’s championship, and praised the team captains for their leadership throughout the year. Several seniors were recognized for their years of participation, and received special gifts to help them remember their McIntosh swim team years.
