Doris Ruff Ellison, 84, Fayetteville, died March 9, 2006. She was born Oct. 17, 1921 in Fulton County. She was a member of West End Business & Professional Women’s Club. She was a member of Park St. Methodist Church and the Lillian Griffith Circle at the church.

Graveside services were at Westview Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Ellison, Fayetteville; and cousins, Maybelle Humphrey, Portsmouth, Va., and Frank Wright, Kona, Hawaii.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
