Walter Alford “Al” Vickers, 58, Fairburn, died March 8, 2006. He was born Dec. 16, 1947 in Coweta County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cary J. and Annie Bell Vickers.

Memorial services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Chuck Novak officiating.

Survivors include a son, Walter Andrew “Andy” Vickers, Fayetteville; a daughter, Wendy Vickers, Newnan; sisters, Carey Anne McClure, Fairburn, and Elaine Cunningham, Newnan; and grandchildren, Jewels Alexandria Vickers, Walter Andrew Vickers II, Bobby Parker Vickers, and Michael Cary Vickers.

Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
