Richard E. Holland, 69, Griffin, died March 8, 2006. He was born May 19, 1936 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to the late William and Lenna Holland. He was also preceded in death by brothers, William and Robert, a son, Bradford, and his first wife of 44 years, Dolores Holland. He worked for the Union Pacific, the Burlington Northern Railroad and also owned the Carpet Comfort Center in Wyoming. He served as minister of Valley Christian church in Nebraska in the 1960’s and was a Sunday School teacher at Fayetteville Christian Church. Services were at the Fayetteville Christian Church with Minister Dan Roberts officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Ann Aimes Holland; sons, Mike, Philip, Mark, and Terry Holland; daughters, Tammy Parton and Cindy Sellards; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. login to post comments |
