James R. “Jim” Pullen, 84, Fayetteville, died March 5, 2006. He was born Dec. 8, 1921 in Meriwether County, Ga. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Summerlin Pullen. He was a veteran of the United States Army in World War II. He was a member of College Park First United Methodist Church. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Barry Thompson and the Rev. Beth Sanders officiating. Interment was at Southview Cemetery, Moreland, Ga. Survivors include a son, Rick and Diane Pullen, Newnan; grandchildren, Amy and Kerry Evert, Fayetteville, Kristy and Trae Westmoreland, Smyrna, and Jamey Pullen, Roswell; great-grandchildren, Ashley Evert, and Kyle Evert, both of Fayetteville, and Acton Westmoreland and Kate Westmoreland, both of Smyrna; a sister, Allene and James Lambert, Macon; and a sister and brother-in-law, Bill and Alice Riley, Atlanta. Memorial donations may be made to the College Park First United Methodist Church, 3726 Main Street, College Park, GA 30337. Carl J.
