Mr. and Miss FCHS Talent Contest Winners NamedTue, 03/14/2006 - 5:18pm

Eighteen contestants recently competed in the 23rd Annual Mr. and Miss FCHS Talent Contest held at Sam’s Auditorium in Fayetteville. Miss FCHS was awarded to Ogechi Oparah. Oparah performed a self-choreographed interpretive dance to Ray Charles’ “Amazing Grace” and was sponsored by Fayette Ballet, Inc. Mr. FCHS was awarded to Joseph Jenkins who performed “Someone to Watch Over Me” by George Gershwin. Jenkins was accompanied on stage by Mariano Pacetti on piano and was sponsored by the German Club. Amy Hebel and Aaron Massie were awarded 1st runners-up and 2nd runners-up were Catherine Kim and Daniel Groce. The “People’s Choice Award” went to Haley Murphy. Kelly Taylor and Norman Hart acted as emcees for the event. login to post comments |
