Many citizens in Fayette County are looking for new leadership on the Fayette County Commission. With all of the “heated” press right now, why would one be a County Commissioner? For me, it is simple. Early in my life I had to be brave and stand on my own two feet. I lost my father just after graduating from Fayette County High School. Maintaining my focus, I was able to persevere through the changes in my life as a young man. Dedication, hard work, and courage have taken me far. Like my father, I pursued a career in aviation. Working for Lockheed Martin and Raytheon Aircraft, I helped manage multiple programs for various Fortune 500 companies. I took my industry service success and invested in a Mr. Transmission franchise located in Fayetteville’s historic district. If elected, I will take the understanding that dedication and perseverance can solve most problems to my seat on the Fayette County Commission. As an active member of the Peachtree City Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Partners in Education, I am already working hard to bring a better quality of life for those in our county. I have enjoyed the people I have met, and am humbled by the support I have received. Last week I wrote you stating my top priorities are non-district voting, public safety, stewardship, and quality of life. If elected, I will work to preserve these values on the Fayette County Commission. As I serve on the commission, it will be clear that all people share the same rights in this county, and that my objective is to improve every citizen’s life. The upcoming election is countywide. ALL registered voters will determine the outcome. I urge each of you to play a part in our county’s future. Vote on March 21st for Robert Horgan. You can still help! Please show your support with my campaign sign in your yard. Please call 770-719-7676 and REMEMBER that early voting begins next week on March 13th at the elections office in Fayetteville. Every vote counts, and in order for your voice to be heard, you must participate. login to post comments |
