Candidates not responding this week may still participate in this free forum by submitting essays of 400 words or less via e-mail to editor@TheCitizen.com by the deadline of 5 p.m. this Thursday. Essay content is up to the candidate. Except for correcting grammar and spelling errors, we will publish up to 400 words from each candidate each week for the next two weeks without further editing. The essays must arrive before deadline as the body text of the e-mail messages, not as attachments.
