Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will sponsor a Southern Gospel concert Sunday, Nov. 13, beginning at 6 p.m., in the main sanctuary of the church. The concert will continue for about two hours and proceeds will support the retirement of a mortgage for FFUMC’s Family Life Center.

The concert will feature two groups: the Atlanta-based Peachland Quartet, and the Diplomats, who also are from Georgia.

“These are excellent groups with many recordings, and we are looking forward to having them in Fayetteville,” a church spokesperson said. “It will be a night of inspirational music you will not want to miss.”

Advanced tickets are now on sale for $10 each and may be obtained from the church office at 175 East Lanier Ave., Fayetteville, or by calling 770-461-4313. Tickets also may be purchased by sending a self- addressed stamped envelope (SASE) to FFUMC, 175 East Lanier Avenue, Fayetteville, Georgia 30214, Attn: Connie. Indicate the number of tickets desired, and enclose a check for the total number ($10 each). Checks should be made out to FFUMC for “building fund.”
