The Atlanta Braves “Play Ball Atlanta!” program will celebrate Peachtree City Youth Baseball ‘s Opening Day with more than 600 youth from Peachtree City Youth Baseball, the Braves BAT (Braves Around Town) Team, and mascot Johnny Bravo today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Peachtree City Youth Baseball Park, 1600 South Hwy 74. “Play Ball Atlanta!” is the Braves’ grassroots baseball initiative that supports little league baseball/softball throughout metro Atlanta. The Braves BAT Team will be on hand with Braves inflatable games and promotional giveaways for fans and youth participants. Additionally the Braves BAT Team will have a table set up with 2006 Braves season schedules, and information on Braves tickets and youth baseball fundraising programs.
