Landmark track warms up for 2006 season

The Landmark Christian School track teams traveled to Mill Creek for a practice meet against other 5A schools. The War Eagles performed extremely well and were paced by some great performances. Here are some of the top performers.

Boys:

• Brett Lewis - second in mile and two mile

• Jarred Crist - first in Discus

• Chad Thames - fourth in pole vault

• Jimmy Eden - second in 300 Hurdles.

Girls

• Kelsey Knapp - second in long jump, first in 200, second in 100

• Heather Hayes - first in pole vault, second in 300 Hurdles, second in 100 hurdles;

• Katie Bulger - second in pole vault, second in 3,200, third in 1,600;

• Katie Mason - third in pole vault, second in 300 hurdles

• Christian McGuire - fourth in 300 hurdles

• Elizabeth Gresham - first in 800 and 1,600

• Joel Christian - first in 100, second in 200,

• 4x100 team second

• 4x400 team third

Landmark Christian and Sandy creek will be among the 27 teams competing in the Panther Relays today at Starr’s Mill. The meet begins at 8 a.m. and will last until 5 p.m.
