The Peachtree City Fire and Rescue Department recently welcomed 18 fully-trained volunteer firefighters into their ranks. They completed more than 160 hours of basic firefighter training that included instruction and practical exercises during live fire training at the department’s burn building. They also had to pass a written exam from the Georgia Fire Academy. The newly-minted volunteer firefighters include: Stephen Alligood, Karen Braczkowski, Ivey Brittain, Tim Ciminnisi, Ross Duncan, Christy Holt, Daniel Klingler, Ron Knowles, Stacy McMichael, Royce Miller Jr., Matt Neel, Kelly Pitts, Elda Pope, Anthony Kyle Prince, Hayley Shepard, Randal Stone, Hal Waters, and John Waters.
