A Peachtree City man has been arrested for molesting a 12-year-old girl, police said.

Julian Pipkins, 40, of Merrick Drive, Peachtree City, was arrested Thursday on the charges. His girlfriend, who is the mother of the victim, reported the incident by flagging down a police officer early Wednesday morning, police said.

The mother reported that she witnessed Pipkins in bed with her. A medical exam confirmed that the girl was molested, police said.

Pipkins is employed as a strategic sourcing manager with Cooper Lighting, police said.
