Jessie Claire “Flower” Stimson, 83, Fayetteville, died Feb. 27, 2006. She was born Jan.23, 1923 in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, N. C. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lysle Stimson, a retired captain, United States Naval Reserve.

Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Hank Melton officiating. Interment was at the Marietta National Cemetery.

Survivors include daughters, Judy Claire Russell, Conyers, Sandra Elizabeth Seidling, Vidalia, Sharon Patricia and Randy Chandler, Mableton, and Susan Eileen and Art J. Hamer Jr., Brooks; grandchildren, Deborah Louise and Michael Munoz, Darlene Lenore and Brad Lemons, Derek Lysle Reagan, Amy Elizabeth and Charlie Rush, James Michael and Amanda Seidling, and Melissa Jayne and Juan Cervantes; and great-grandchildren, Melinda Claire Munoz, Wesley Alexander Munoz, Wesley Alexander Munoz, Corrin Nicole Lemons, Angelina Jade Cervantes, Harley Elizabeth Rush, and Rylee Elizabeth Seidling.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
