Ruth Virginia Spence, 94, Peachtree City, died Feb. 27, 2006. She was born July 16, 1911 in Columbus, Ohio.

Memorial services were at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chuck Hodges, and Sean Robinson officiating.

Survivors include daughters, Jeanne and Michael Swank, Peachtree City, and Esther and Donald Kessinger, Clearwater, Fla.; nine grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
