• Ryan Barr, a Starr’s Mill graduate, got some playing time for Bloomsburg University in their 40-12 win over Mansfield University.

• Deante Battle, a Starr’s Mill graduate at Northwestern University, had three solo tackles and one pass break up in their 49-14 win over Michigan State.

• Larry Beard, a Sandy Creek graduate, had four solo tackles and two assists for Georgia Southern in their 49-14 win over Georgia Southern.

• James Bouie, a Fayette County graduate, had some playing time in Georgia Southern’s 49-14 win over The Citadel.

• Brian Brown, a Sandy Creek graduate, had an assist in the University of Delaware’s 34-28 win over James Madison University.

• Chis Capps, a Landmark Christian graduate at the University of Alabama, started at left tackle in their 6-3 win over Tennessee.

• Charles Castleberry, a McIntosh graduate, had five rushes for 11 yards in the University of Minnesota, Crookston’s 49-26 loss to Southwest Minnesota State.

• John Deraney, a Fayette County graduate, kicked a 21 yard field goal and two extra points for NC State in their 27-19 loss to Wake Forest. He also had nine punts for 350 yards.

• Jason Earwood, a Starr’s Mill graduate, returned an interception for a touchdow in Georgia Southern’s 49-14 win over The Citadel. He added two solo tackles and two assists.

• Ryan Gloer, a Starr’s Mill graduate playing for Shorter College, had one solo tackle and 10 assists in their 29-27 loss to Virginia-Wise.

• Joshua Haney, a Sandy Creek graduate, had two catches for 41 yards for The Citadel in their 49-14 loss to Georgia Southern.

• Chris James, a Starr’s Mill graduate, kicked six extra points for Western Kentucky in their 42-7 win over Western Illinois.

• Billy Price, a Starr’s Mill graduate playing football at Centre College, had a sack in their 17-13 homecoming win over Maryville College.

• Riley Swanson, a Sandy Creek graduate, had four solo tackles,and two assists for Wake Forest in their 27-19 win over NC State.
