Belk Department store will be hosting a Ladies Nite Out from 5- 9pm to kick off a weekend of fundraising for local charities. Over 20 local businesses and vendors have been invited to set up to provide a variety of shopping opportunities including A Tea House, Juice Plus, Cakes for all Occasions, Organizational Concepts, Bodies, Kneaded, Inc. and Right on Thyme Caterers. Belly dancers will provide entertainment and free lessons. The goal of Belk's Ladies Night Out is to kick off a full day of fundraising on Friday, October 28, when local charities will set up tables in the front of the store to raise money for their individual organization by selling discount Belk coupons for $5 each.
