James F. Carr, 84, Jonesboro, died Feb. 22, 2006. He was born Feb. 27, 1921 in Fulton County. He was a past member of the Grant Park Masonic Lodge F&AM.

Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with chaplain Dan Akins officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Duffie June Galloway Carr, Jonesboro; a son, Tommie F. and Theresa Carr, Senoia; daughters, Sherrie J. Wehner, LaGrange, Ga., Connie D. and Phillip Shampine, New York; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
