Denny Kuhr of Peachtree City was recently selected by Winchester Ammunition as the Quail Unlimited, National Volunteer of the Year.

Kuhr serves as the Fayette County 4-H Shotgun Club Coordinator with the Fayette County Extension Office. The club has about 30 local youth who shoot clay targets at their range located on state highway 85 South, about 6.5 miles south of Fayetteville. He is also a member of the Georgia 4-H, Shooting Awareness, Fundamentals, and Education (S.A.F.E.) Advisory Committee and serves as a Certified Georgia Hunter Education Instructor through the Fayette County Marshal’s Office.
