This Sunday, March 5, Southern Charm Bridal Network will host its eighth bridal show. The show, which was first held in 2002, will give future brides the opportunity to visit with 39 different vendors. Each vendor will have their products and/or services on display at the event for future brides and grooms to browse through. The products or services from each vendor may be purchased or booked at the different vendors’ booths. Brides who arrive early can participate in the workshop "Wedding Planning with the Planners" from 1:15 to 1:45 p.m. The workshop will teach brides about "The things to do, to say I do."

The Southern Charm Bridal Network is an association of wedding professionals serving the south Atlanta area, including Clayton, Coweta, Fayette, Henry, and Spalding counties. Southern Charm is synonymous with caring, creativity, and commitment, creating synergy to serve your special event. The mission of the Southern Charm Bridal Network is "to provide bridal and special event services in the form of quality professionalism in all aspects associated with creating a special day that is forever memorable to our clients."

A group of vendors met in 1998 to share leads and contacts for brides and anyone planning a special event. The group eventually evolved into what is known today as the Southern Charm Bridal Network. A list of vendors and more information may be found online at www.SouthernCharmBridal.net. Three founding members still remain with the group as vendors including, Rick Escarra, SCBN Board Chair, Allstate/Escarra & Assoc. Jonesboro, Ga., Sandee Clark, One Rose Florist & Gifts, Jonesboro, Ga. and Chad Fryer, Classic Canopies, Tyrone, Ga. Membership is by invitation only and the network’s leadership attributes the success of the group to the individual dependability of the vendors involved.

Visit the show Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center, 2443 Hwy. 54 West Peachtree City, Ga. Contact Sarah Avett for further information at 770-486-3300. Admission is free and drawings for door prizes will be held throughout the day. Local dress shops will be giving away dresses after the fashion show and a grand prize honeymoon trip winner will be announced at 4:45 p.m. If you're planning a wedding, this is the place to be!
