Brooks Elementary Chorus
The Brooks Elementary fourth- and fifth-grade chorus raised their voices to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” during the National Anthem Project Road Show Press Conference at the Georgia State Capitol. The National Anthem Project is a nationwide campaign to restore America’s voice through music education. The event is making stops at locations throughout the United States to raise awareness about the importance of supporting and funding school music programs. Following the press conference, the Brooks chorus had a special meeting with Gov. Sonny Perdue. They were the only school invited to meet with the governor. Photo/Special.
