John Janigan - Career fair
Nearly 2,000 eighth graders from J.C. Booth, Rising Starr, Flat Rock and Fayette Middle schools attended the second annual Middle School Career Fair at the Kiwanis fairground. Fayette’s community members showcased about 50 different career areas and talked to students about the educational and professional requirements needed for specific jobs. The two-day event was held Feb. 7-8 in conjunction with National School Counseling Week. Laura Ali-Talha of BellSouth talks to J.C. Booth students, from left, John Janigan and Kyle Shanahan about the telecommunications industry. Photo/Special.
