Harlie F. “Red” Mullins Jr., 80, Peachtree City, died Feb. 19, 2006. He was born Jan. 7, 1926 in Fulton County. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia in 1948, and was retired from Blalock Machinery and Equipment Company as a credit manager. He was formerly a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church, Stone Mountain, and a present member of Peachtree City First Baptist Church. He was affiliated for years with the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons. He was also a statistician for 50 years for Georgia Tech football. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Steve Bingham, the Rev. Jack Ballard, and the Rev. Dr. Bill De Lay officiating. Interment was at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cochran. Survivors include his wife, Marcia Hall Mullins, Peachtree City; and a daughter, Connie Mullins and Neil Glaser, Peachtree City. Memorial donations may be made to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
