Syble D. Sutton, 72, Brooks, died Feb. 18, 2006. She was born June 7, 1933 in Winder, daughter of the late Vallie S. Pittman. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy Pittman Jr., and sisters, Nancy Marion Yancey, and Ella Ruth Solar. She was a nurse at Grady Memorial Hospital, and for Dr. James Nalley’s office and lastly with Dr. Myron M. Katz. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dennis Watson officiating. Interment was at Brooks Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Mac D. Sutton, Brooks; daughters, Carol Y. Gilreath, Williamson, Sabrina M. Bartlett, Newnan, Deborah L. Wilson, San Diego, Calif., Catherine E. Costello, Minneapolis, Minn., and April L. Krantz, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Daniel Morris, Michael Costello, Meagan Aldredge, Sarah Costello, Dena Wilson, and Delaney Wilson; a sister, Hazel Cooper, Douglasville; and a sister-in-law, Helen Pittman, Douglasville.
