Flat Creek Baptist Church will present a Grief Recovery Seminar, “Hope for a Grieving Heart,” at the church on Saturday, March 18, from 9 a.m. until noon. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Room C-202. The purpose of the seminar is to help those coping with the loss of a loved one. Discussion will revolve around the grief process and ways to cope with grief from a biblical perspective. In addition, it will help identify ways to begin healing and adjusting to a new way of life. The seminar also would be helpful for someone trying to relate to a grieving family member or friend. The seminar is free and open to everyone. Registration is requested by Thursday, March 16, although walk-ins will be welcome. Sign up in the Welcome Center or by calling the church office. For more information or to register, call the church, 770-487-4890. The church is at 161 Flat Creek Trail, between Ga. Hwy. 54 and Tyrone Road, about halfway between Fayetteville and Peachtree City. login to post comments |
