Hopewell United Methodist Church will observe Ash Wednesday tonight with a meal at 6 p.m., followed by the Ash Wednesday service. The service will include the imposition of ashes on the foreheads of believers. The Lenten season ends on Easter Sunday when the church celebrates the resurrection.
