Neil Wright of Stockbridge and Ms. Kisti Wright of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Gayle Wright, to Spc. Daniel Edward Stallings, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Stallings of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and will receive her bachelor’s degree in event planning and management from Mercer University in May. She currently is employed by Sun Trust Bank.

The groom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Fayette County High School. He currently is serving as a specialist with the 3rd Infantry Division, United States Army, stationed at Fort Stewart, Ga. He returned from a year of duty in Samarra, Iraq, in December, 2005.

The wedding will be in June, 2006, at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Following a honeymoon, the couple will reside in Richmond Hill, Ga.
