George and Helen Schweitzer of Columbus, Ohio, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Georgia Schweitzer, to Jonathan Beasley, son of Jane Beasley of Brooks and George Beasley of Shelby, N.C.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Bishop Hartley High School in Columbus, Ohio, and a 2001 graduate of Duke University where she received a bachelor of arts degree. She currently is a second-year medical student at Duke University.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of North Forsyth High School in Winston-Salem, N.C. and a 1996 graduate of North Carolina State University where he received a bachelor of science degree. He currently is a security solutions strategist for Computer Associates.

The wedding will be June 3, 2006, at St. Matthew the Apostle Church in Gahanna, Ohio.
