The Fellowship of Christian Athletes sponsored a 2006 Baseball Lead-Off Dinner for over 350 players, coaches, and volunteers to celebrate the 2006 high school baseball season, at Crossroad Church in Newnan.

Appreciation gifts were presented to all of the coaches. Former MLB player Scott Fletcher was the keynote speaker. Atlanta Braves outfielder Jeff Francoeur shared his testimony in a pre-recorded interview.
