28th annual Atlanta Home Show returns later this monthTue, 02/28/2006 - 3:26pm

The 28th annual Atlanta Home Show will take place March 23-26 at the Georgia World Congress Center. This year’s show boasts numerous attractions in addition to the thousands of products and idea for homebuilding, remodeling or doing-it-yourself. For instance, the Suwanne River Log Cabin will be the feature house of the show. There will also be a “wet room,” which features the latest in bathroom trends where water cascades across the floor free from doors and trays and everything in the room gets wet. There will also be a Starbucks Patio Lounge, where visitors can sit, sip coffee and win prizes, including a trip to Seattle. The show will also feature numerous special guests including dog whisperer Cesar Millan (Thursday, March 23), Debbie Travis, Queen of Paint (Saturday, March 25), the hosts of Turner South’s “Bushwacked” and “Home Makers,” Walter Reeves, Joe Washington of “Ground Breakers,” The Cool Tool Guy from The Home Depot and many more. The show will run from 12-6 p.m. on Thursday and Sunday, March 23 and 26, while Friday’s hours are 12-8 p.m. and Saturday’s hours are from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12 and free for ages five an under.
