My name is Anthony Miller. My friends call me Tony. I have lived in Senoia for 15 years. My wife Lu Nations-Miller has lived in Senoia For 28 years. We have 4 sons aging from 21-35 years old.
I have been a Senoia City councilman for 2 years. I have 26 years of other city government experience. I was a Captain with the City of Atlanta Fire Department and am now retired.

I have experience in management, city operations, city budget, city planning. building codes, zoning and code enforcement. While with the City of Atlanta, I was priviledged to work closely with the City Council, Mayors office and the building and zoning department. I also worked closely with the Georgia and Federal Emergency Management Agencies.

I helped with emergency plans for the Democratic National Convention and the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. All of this gave me valuable experience in all phases of city operations. I was able to see agencies at their best and worst and able to contribute to correct problems and mistakes.

I want to continue being on the City Council because of my love for my community and the people who live here. I want to continue to make Senoia a great place to live and work and give the citizens a strong voice in how Senoia is governed. I am a public servant and the voice of the people is Senoia.

I have motivation, experience, willingness to work hard, an understanding of city government and a love of Senoia.
I am a member of the Senoia Historical Society, the Senoia Library Board, a member and past President of the Optimist Club of Senoia, an active church and choir member and a decorated Vietnam Veteran.

My priorities are simple.

(1) More positive city growth which is more in line with the community and not at odds with it.

(2) All citizens of Senoia to have an active voice in all operations of the city.

(3) To complete the new library project in which I have been actively involved.

I want to continue to represent the citizens of Senoia to the best of my ability and ask for your support in the upcoming election in November. Thank you.
