Developmental Disabilities Workshop

A free workshop on planning for the future of people with developmental disabilities will be held today from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at White Oak Elementary School, 770 Lora Smith Road, Newnan, Ga. Person Centered Planning is a life long plan for people with disabilities which include the wishes and needs of the person. This workshop will provide great tools for parents and caregivers who are concerned for the future of their loved ones after they are gone. The workshop is sponsored by Coweta Supporters/Rutledge Workshop and the Coweta County School System. Free babysitters are available by reservations. Call Judy Floyd at 770-502-9375 to make a reservation for babysitting. Coweta Supporters is a group of families, educators, caregivers and individuals in the community who are coming together to give support, information and opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.
