In 2004 I was honored to be elected the Mayor of Senoia. I feel in the past two years my Administration and staff have resolved many exising problems and positioned the City for quality growth. From 1990 to 2003, I served as a Senoia City Council member. I have knowledge of city practices and have the time to devote to the city. I respect the citizens of Senoia. I wish them to judge me on my merits and the accomplishments of my administration and staff over the past two years. My top three priorities are: 1) Quality of Life. Continue to keep the historical small town flavor that Senoia is known for and provide a safe walking atmosphere for everyone. 2) Infrastructure. Be proactive in meeting the challenges that growth brings, insuring new growth pays for the cost of these expansions and does not become a burden to current residents. 3) Budget. Insure tax revenues are well managed. I am a native of Senoia and attended East Coweta High. I am married to Janice and together we have 5 children & 3 grandchildren. We are members of the First Baptist Church of Senoia. I served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968. I was employed by The Coca Cola Company, Atlanta, GA in 1968. I went through the ranks of the business and was trained and promoted to Production Manager, the title I held until I retired in 1998 after 30 years with the company. Again, I am pleased and gratified about the accomplishments of the past two years and would sincerely appreciate your continued support and vote in re-electing me to serve you for another term. login to post comments |
