Real Life Center gets a boost from A’meritage in TyroneTue, 01/26/2010 - 3:15pm

A’meritage at Dogwood Restaurant is partnering with the Real Life Center to help feed the hungry in Fayette County. A’meritage will donate $1 from the sale of every adult Sunday brunch buffet to the Real Life Center The promotion will continue through 2010. A’meritage owner Joseph Nowell said, “We feel blessed that the Fayette county community has embraced us and given us the opportunity to share our passion for food. What better way to show our appreciation than by being a blessing to others. We were thrilled to discover the Real Life Center as a resource for donating food.” The Real Life Center assists individuals and families in Fayette County who are going through a difficult time. The center provides a safe place to receive help by offering guidance, encouragement and connections to local resources. Each month the center distributes approximately 10,000 pounds of food to local residents. A’meritage hopes to donate $5,000 this year towards the efforts of the Real Life Center. Sunday brunch is served from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. every week, and includes a full array of breakfast entrees, seafood, beef, salads, desserts and an omelette station.
