The voters of Senoia have a choice to make.  When we go to the polls this fall there are two clear choices.  One choice is for a change and the other is for more of the same.  I am the choice of change and here is what I will do differently.

1)I will treat all citizens who come before the council with courtesy and respect.  The residence of Twin Lakes, who were not heard before a vote was taken concerning them, is one example of this.  Some citizens are treated differently and this is not in all of our best interest.

2)I will not give special privileges to any person or group.  The rules should and will apply equally to all.  There will be no more cases of some people having to follow the rules, while others exempt themselves.

3)I will not use the office of mayor as a means of personal gain.  There will be no more "insider information" real estate deals.

4)I will fully disclose any conflict of interest on my part and not put the city in a bad light by failing to do so.  I have clearly demonstrated in the past that I will not vote on issues where I have a potential conflict of interest or where my judgement may be clouded by personal friendships.

5)I will put our children first, they are the future of Senoia.  A plan to reshape our city park, capital improvements to our ball fields and solutions to in town traffic issues will be priorities.  These are needed to enhance recreational opportunities and to keep our young ones safe.

6)I will work with the county to increase activities for seniors by utilizing the Senior Center more fully.

7)I will not be pro or anti growth.   I will work to manage it by following our Comprehensive Land Use Plan.  I will not be "pro" annexation until we have fully met the service needs of our current city area.  I will not be a "facilatator" for developers as currently happens.

The differences are obvious.  I am asking you to help me make these changes.

Thank you for allowing me to serve you the last four years and hopefully I will continue.
