Denise Blackburn, 51, Senoia, died Dec.. 20, 2009. During the last year of her life, she cared for and counseled other cancer patients at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She also was involved in prison ministry and marriage counseling. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Kevin Moore officiating. Survivors include her husband, Jim Blackburn, Senoia; sons, Brett Blackburn, and Christopher Blackburn, both of Senoia; a daughter, Kristyn Blackburn, Senoia; parents, Alphonse and Claudia Larivier, Grosvenordale, Conn.; and a brother, Alphonse and Kelly Larivier Jr., Ellington, Conn. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
