Helen Louise Hussie, Newnan, died Dec. 4, 2009. She was born Aug. 15, 1923 in Newnan, daughter of the late Joe and Eloise Barker Hussie. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Horton, a grandson, Antonio Hussie, and nephews, James Lloyd and Tony Brown. She was a member of Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church. Services were at the Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Carol Helton officiating. Interment was at Eastview Cemetery. Survivors include sons, Calvin and Rise Russell, Ronald and Michelle Russell, all of Colorado Springs, Colo., Carlton and Jean Hussie, Virginia Beach, Va., J. D. and Jeanette Hussie, Arthur Lee and Shirley Hussie, and Willie Lee and Pennie Hussie, all of Newnan; a daughter, Patsy and Willie Alford, Lanette, Ala.; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
