The Fayette Family YMCA in conjunction with arts&expressions magazine, the Endowment Committee for the Cultural Arts of Fayette County and the Peachtree City Rotary is planning a county wide Festival of the Arts April 22 and 23.

The festival takes place at the YMCA, 215 Huiet Road in Fayetteville will feature two art shows, one for professional artists and the other for elementary, middle and high school students, hourly performances by Fayette County theaters, musical groups, dance schools and individual performers. "We hope to create a Spoleto type environment during the two days of the festival with street musicians, magicians, jugglers and performances throughout the day," stated event chairman, Andre De Lorenzo. "We want to include every arts organization in the county and ask them to participate. We plan to have exhibit space available so that these groups that comprise the cultural environment of Fayette have the opportunity to tell those attending about their organization."
