Joseph Karl Kolman Sr., 66, Fayetteville, died Feb. 15, 2006. He was born Oct. 24, 1939 in Cook County, Ill. He was an aircraft mechanic for 43 years, retiring from Northwest Airlines in 2001. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge F&AM, and was involved with the Boy Scouts.

Services were at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Jimmy Adams officiating.

Survivors include his children, Joseph K. Kolman II, and Daniel B. Kolman, both of Fayetteville, David J. Kolman, Senoia, and Joanne K. Byrom, The Rock, Ga.; a sister, Joanne Barkauskas, Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
