Barbara Trapp Peters, Newnan, died Nov. 20, 2009. She was born April 14, 1932 in Fulton County, one of two children. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Burnett and Beulah Brand Trapp, her husband, K. M. "Bud" Peters, in May, 2008, and a sister, Sandra Trapp Snipes. Her professional life was spent as a bookkeeper in a number of companies dealing in concrete products. She was a member of Lovejoy United Methodist Church. Graveside services were at Oak Hill Cemetery, Newnan, with the Rev. Dr. Bob Martin officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Denise P. Bray; a nephew, Stephen and Ana Snipes, and their children, Monica, and Claudia; and a niece, Nancy and Daryl Zarbnisky, and their children, Kyla and Braden. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
