Azell "Zelly" Turner, Newnan, died Nov. 27, 2009. He was born May 17, 1949 in Moreland. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie C. and Lucille Turner, his wife, Roxie Turner, a son, Demarcus Turner, a brother, and four sisters. He attended the Coweta County school system and was a lifelong construction worker. He was very passionate about working. Services were at the Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, with the Rev. Julian Warner officiating. Interment was at Eastview Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Antonio "Tony" and Laura Johnson; a daughter, Kizzie and Telly Gould; a brother, Jimmy Lee Turner; a sister, Tammy Renée Turner; and five grandchildren. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
