Susan W. Sams, 55, Peachtree City, died Nov. 25, 2009. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Minister Paul Carrier officiating. Interment was at College Park Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Danny L. Sams; a son, Andrew Sams, Peachtree City; a daughter, Annah Hand, Fayetteville; grandsons, Mykel Hand, and Devin Hand, both of Fayetteville; a granddaughter, Arianna Hand, Fayetteville; a brother, Mickey and Nickey Whaley, Jasper; a sister, Vickie and Mike Giles, Molena; and parents, James and Doris Whaley, Molena. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
