The Southern Crescent Aquatic Team performed some blazing efforts at the 14 & Under Georgia State Swimming Championships held February 17th-19th in Savannah, Georgia.

Jack Beall, Lauren Beatty, Ariana Berg, Casey Blanchard, Kristen Bohrer, Bailey Cartwright, Stacie Evans, Alex Harmon, Alex Menke, Jim Roddenbery, Jordan Schumacher, Lauren Scott, Robbie Scott, and Ben Starkey were among the swimmers that represented the Southern Crescent Aquatic Team.

All that attended the competition swam to life-time best performances, but there were some outstanding highlights within the mix. Ariana Berg swam to a silver medal in the 200 Breaststroke along with an 8th place finish in the 100 Breaststroke.

Jack Beall received a bronze medal for the 50 butterfly and also placed 6th in the 100 Backstroke, 8th in the 100 Individual Medley and 100 Butterfly, 9th in the 50 Freestyle, and 12th in the 100 Freestyle. Beall scored the most points for the Southern Crescent Aquatic Team. Lauren Scott placed 4th in the 100 Butterfly, 11th in the 100 Freestyle, 14th in the 200 Butterfly, and 16th in the 200 Individual Medley.

Alex Harmon placed 5th in the 1000 Freestyle, 8th in the 400 Individual Medley, 10th in the 500 Freestyle, and 15th in the 200 Backstroke. Robbie Scott placed 8th in the 100 Backstroke and the 200 Freestyle, and 13th in the 200 Individual Medley. Jim Roddenbery placed 11th in the 200 Breaststroke, and 14th in the 100 Breaststroke. Bailey Cartwright placed 15th in the 200 Backstroke.

The 14 and Under Girls 400 Medley Relay of Bailey Cartwright, Ariana Berg, Lauren Scott, and Lauren Beatty placed 7th while the same line up place 8th in the 200 Medley Relay. The 14 and Under Boys 400 Medley Relay of Alex Harmon, Casey Blanchard, Alex Menke, and Jim Roddenbery placed 9th while the 200 Medley Relay of Alex Harmon, Jim Roddenbery, Casey Blanchard, and Jack Beall placed 8th.

Another impressive set of performances where from the line-up of Bailey Cartwright, Ariana Berg, Lauren Beatty, and Lauren Scott in both the 400 Freestyle Relay (8th) and the 200 Freestyle Relay (7th). For more information about the Southern Crescent Aquatic Team visit www.scatswimming.org.
