Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church will mark its 35th anniversary Nov. 28-29 at all worship services. The church was constituted on the first Sunday of Advent, 1974, under the leadership of mission developer/pastor John Weber.

A Cross+Generational event, “Make a Joyful Noise,” will begin at 9:45 a.m. on Nov. 29. Children, parents and grandparents will explore songs of the season with singing, stories, crafts and food. That evening at the 6 p.m. service, “one50,” the high school praise band, will lead worship.

The following Friday, Dec. 4, Bishop Julian Gordy of the Southeastern Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will visit Christ Our Shepherd from 7-8:30 p.m.
