All Saints Anglican Church in Peachtree City has welcomed the Rev. Raymond J. Greiner to its pastoral staff where he will serve as associate rector. Greiner’s addition comes with the recent merger of his former church, Prince of Peace Anglican, with All Saints. He had served as rector there for the last five years. Greiner will assist the Rev. Michael Fry with Sunday services, teach weekly Bible classes, lead prayer groups and help with pastoral care. He and wife Jere are long-time residents of Peachtree City. They have three adult children and five grandchildren. “Father Ray has a very colorful background,” Fry said. “He was in U.S. Army counter intelligence in the Korean War, once ran for the U.S. Senate, and has been an area director for the Christian Broadcasting Network.” Greiner was ordained as a priest in 1997. He also has extensive experience as a corporate trainer, conducting seminars for companies such as IBM and Xerox. He founded and presented “Christ In The Marketplace” seminars throughout the U.S. and Canada. All Saints Anglican is part of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) and is also affiliated with the Convocation of Anglicans in North America (CANA). It recently moved to 225 South Peachtree Parkway. login to post comments |
