Composed and Written by Gian Carlo Menotti. Haunting and vivid musical interpretations describe the humble life of a crippled child and his impoverished mother and capture one mesmerizing evening when traveling Magi from the East mysteriously seek rest with them. This introduction to opera is in English and has a run time of 50 minutes. Directed by W. Dwight Coleman with musical direction by Daniel E. Solberg, this co-production with the Georgia State University School of Music is recommended for all ages.
