Neely Pond proposals denied by commissioners

A rezoning request for the large residential and commercial Neely Pond at Johnson Crossroads development along Ga. Highway 16 south of Sharpsburg was denied by Coweta County commissioners Nov. 17. Approval would have established 208 homes and up to 170,000 square feet of retail space.
