Mayors declare November ‘City Family Month’

At the recent City Council meetings in both Peachtree City and Fayetteville, mayors of both cities issued a proclamation declaring November to be City Family Month. The proclamation urges “all citizens to spend quality time with family members to strengthen relationships between parents and children.” On hand to receive the proclamation (top photo) from Peachtree City Mayor Harold Logsdon was Kevin Bentley, bishop of the Peachtree City congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Also in the photo, (L-R) Bentley’s son Henry Bentley, wife Amy Bentley, and daughters Lilly and Shelly Bentley. On hand to receive the proclamation (bottom photo) from Fayetteville Mayor Ken Steele was Craig Sultan, bishop of the Fayetteville congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Also in the photo (L-R) Sultan’s wife Rebecca Sultan and sons Jack and Max Sultan. Photo/Special.
